Privacy Policy

1. Data used by the app

RecceNotes may use location/GPS data while using the Recce screen to support distance calculation and the creation of recce notes. The app also stores locally user-created data such as stage names, recce notes, distances, settings, note styles and exported CSV or PDF files.

2. Use of data

Data is used to create and manage stages, support note recording, calculate or display distances, generate CSV/PDF exports, save user settings and manage the trial period and Pro licence status.

3. Data storage

RecceNotes data is stored locally on the user’s device. RecceNotes does not use its own server to store stages, notes, location or exported files.

4. Data sharing

RecceNotes does not sell user data and does not send stages, notes or location data to its own server. When the user exports or shares a CSV or PDF file, that action is started by the user through the device sharing options.

5. In-app purchases

RecceNotes Pro is activated through Google Play. Purchases are processed by Google Play. RecceNotes does not collect or store payment data, card numbers or banking credentials.

6. Permissions

The app may request permissions necessary for its operation, including location when applicable to note recording. The user can manage permissions in Android settings.

7. Security

RecceNotes aims to keep data locally on the device and reduce data collection to the minimum necessary for the app to work.

8. Children

RecceNotes is not directed at children.

9. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app, legal requirements or Google Play policies.
